Multi-Species Conservation Mixes for Soil Health: The New Hampshire Conservation Districts in cooperation with the NH Soil Health Partnership are offering cover crop mixes specially designed to improve soil health on NH farms, at wholesale prices.
Mid-Season Mix
Good For: Following early vegetable and sweet corn crops.
Contains: Daikon radish, crimson clover, hairy vetch, forage oats, winter wheat, and phacelia.
Application Rate: 50 lbs per acre. Sold in 50 lb bags
Planting Dates: August 1-31
Order by July 14
Order pick-up information:
Pick-up locations will be finalized after the order deadline for each mix. The more orders we receive, the more locations there will be. We will attempt make convenient arrangements; either dropping the order off at your farm, or providing a local pick up location, but you may need to drive to the Concord area to pick up your order if other arrangements aren’t feasible. Please reach out by phone or email if you’d like to know more about pick-up arrangements.
